Propagating Florist Carnations

Has anyone tried propagating the Large Florist Carnations. i did luck our with a minny Carnation it had a shoot on the side and got that to root it's White and have had it for 2yrs. Now i woud like to try the large Carnation !! I have some good professional potting mix and Perlite, try to make a small minny Greenhouse with a lunch bad on top of a small Pot. Any tips on how to propagate.
