Shore Juniper

lov2garden

I have a brown thumb with cuttings of any sort. I have a thick patch of shore juniper that I'd like to increase and use in other areas. Can some be just dug up, making sure there is root on it, and then planted where more is wanted to grow? It seems to grow roots wherever it keeps contact with bare soil. Could the branches on the newly set plants be pinned down to cover quicker? Would the newly "transplanted" junipers need any special care like daily watering?

Sorry for so many questions! Advice is greatly appreciated.
