Is there a good root stock to create a dwarf Japanese Cherry blossom from a full size cherry blossom?

Thank you for all your help and advice!

By "Japanese Cherry blossom", I will assume you are talking about Prunus serrulata (Japanese Flowering Cherry).

'Gisela 5' is probably the most commonly used dwarfing rootstock for this plant. 'Colt' and some of the Krymsk-series are other examples that should work.

I will give that a shot, and yes you are correct on the Japanese Flowering Cherry.

    Thanks!
