Cyclamen tuber for propagation

I have a strikingly colorful Cyclamen persica tuber(Florist's Cyclamen)that I would like to divide so that I can produce more plants. Is it possible to divide the tuber into several parts, dust with sulfur or some antifungal, then place in a bed of Perlite for new roots to form? Would like to hear from anyone who might have done this.

The general answer is Yes..... BUT many get greedy & make small divisions which dehydrate & do not produce plants.
