Is it Okay to Plant Etain Violas Near Other Types of Violas?

I just adore Etain violas but they can be hard to find. I happened to stumble across some today at my local Lowe's and I snapped up four plants.

I have three questions.

1 - What is the best way to propogate them, since it is my understanding that you cannot buy seeds.

2 - When is the best time to propogate them?

3 - If I have other types of violas planted nearby, will this interfere with my Etain violas coming back every year true-to-form?

Thank you for your help!

Linda
