impatiens

I have become addicted to this site! That said, I am curious abour propagating impatiens. I have been growing them from seed for three years, with great success, but I am very interested in trying my hand at cuttings. What would be the best way to overwinter my impatiens next fall? Could I bring some of them in over the winter and take cuttings late winter? Or would I be able to take cuttings this fall and grow them all winter to be put out in the spring? I always buy a color mix(because I can't find certain colors seperate) and I would like to be able to control which colors I get the most of. Last year I grew 45 impatiens and got mainly one color. I guess that is another question.... will the cutting produce the same color flower as the parent plant? Thanx in advance for all your advice, I have learned so much from this forum already.
