| Hello everyone , I live in southeast Georgia and the dogwoods are blooming, and the myrtle trees are not far behind. Can anyone tell me when is the best time to take there cuttings ?? Thanks Greg |

| Dogwood take 3-4 inch curring june-Aug apply 0.3% IBA Rooting hormone stick in well drained soil & mist Crape Myrtle take cuttings of firm NEW growth apply 0.1% IBA Rooting hormone stick in well drained soil & mist takes 21-100 days to root |

| Thank you for the tips George.... I dont have the IBA rooting hormone.. Will olivia's cloning gel work 0.08(N) 0.15(PO) 0.09(KO) I also have a powder (Rootone) it has 0.20 of naphthaleneacetamide and 4.04 of thiram ?? I looked up the IBA, it seems like a good product. kinda expensive though... thanks again......Greg |

| I always use IBA & therefore can predict the results. Rootone will also work well. |
