Can take cuttings any time & can use soft wood or hardwood. (I prefer hard wood 2" long on bottom & then 2" soft wood on top). Apply 0.1% IBA rooting hormone. stick in well drainned soil & mist taking 25-60 days to root. Bottom heat speeds up the rooting process.

I had one large rosemary plant which was brought in over the winter. I recently took tip cuttings, about 4-5 inches in length, put them in water in baby food jars under shoplights, and they rooted within a few weeks. I transpalnted them to small dixie cups and they are growing in soil under lights and are putting out new growth. Easy.
