Cuttings from raspberry shoots?

Hello,

in the second year many shoots sprout at the twig of the summer raspberries where the fruits develop.

I'm wondering if is possible to take cuttings of these shoots and root them under high humidity. Never heard about this way to propagate raspberries.

Any experiences?

Take cuttings of firm new growth apply 0.1% IBA (rooting hormone) stick in well drained soil & mist taking 25-80 days to root
