The Old Greek Was Right!

I had a feeling that if I followed his instructions, life would be good.

Unfortunately the UC Davis identity tags melt in the sun and water, so I have no clue which grapevine is growing. Sort of makes it Sexy!!

He promised if I lay the cuttings down in a 1.5 inch trench, cover with loose soil. That the cuttings will live!!

I now have a grapevine, no clue which it is, but it is healthy, rooted, and all mine!!

Ha! Yiorges! To further prove it, I now have 4 free grape vines popping up!! Figs and Pomegranates are soon to come! And the cuttings are Greek varietals! Assirtico, Daphnata, Liatico, and Mandilaria. I'm waiting for Lagorthi.

Here is a shot of the vines as they look about a week later. These are just 4, and there are many more! Unfortunately the UC Davis tags faded, so they are Mystery Vines!

Here is a link that might be useful: Mystery Vines via The Old Greek
