Hello, I was wondering when was the best time of year to take the cuttings of the Washington hawthorn and the drake elm trees and should it be hard or softwood? Thanks

Both = summer/Winter use cuttings of firm new growth or hardwood. Also use 0.8% IBA (rooting hormone)
