Basil and Coleus What's Everyone Growing?

Matt

Grew the sweet basil from seed.

Kept Coleus 'Redhead' alive all winter by a southern window. I've beheaded the 3 cuttings I took in Oct twice once in Mid to Late Feb, and just now potted up again... Or cellpaked up - I have 30 cuttings

Then I bought a 'Wasabi' Coleus and cut it into 12 plants and have the stump!

Pesto Perpetuo is awesome to propagate! I love it's Greek heritage - columnar basil genes make for great structure! Made a 6pk and have a large parent plant to go out.

Same for African Blue basil. Great structure! Makes a good pesto and grows large and doesn't get as leggy as sweet basil in my experience. Some people just grow it as an ornamental. A very rugged basil. It's a Harley Davidson Biker basil.

Let's see some pics!!
