| A commercial grower in a nursery close by told me that I could root spireas by merely putting them in a glass of water and wait for the roots to form.... That sounds way too easy, is there any truth to that?
I know about layering, etc., I just wanted something quick and easy and would love to know if that works. After this post, I am going to see if it DOES indeed work and will post my results. Thanks for any information or experience anyone has about this Carrie |

| I have propagated spirea by taking a green cutting dipping it in a little rooting hormone and putting it in a pot in the shade, they have taken pretty quickly for me. |

| Thank you, laryssabeth - I will try that - Can I use MG potting mix? Carrie |
