I am looking for advice on how to propagate a baby's breath. This plant is pretty old and has a height of about 7 feet. I really know nothing about gardening but would assume it has a pretty extensive root system so I think relocating it as it is is probably not an option. I was thinking of rooting a clipping. Does this sound like a viable option? If so what would be the best procedure to achieve success? We live in Memphis if the climate has anything to do with it. The situation is that we do not want to get rid of it because my wife's mother grew this from a clipping from the farm she lived on as a young girl in Oklahoma but it is in the way of a patio project. Any advice would be appreciated very much.
