Transplanting caragana?

Hello,
I would like to transplant a very established (i.e. 60yr old) caragana hedge with a front-end loader perhaps? The city has finally surrounded our old homestead and our property lines were just adjusted. It would be great to use this old hedge as a privacy screen, but I'm not sure it's possible. Also, has anyone had success with caragana, lilac or honeysuckle cuttings?
