Hi, pretty new to the forum, but love it.

Can anyone please give me detailed instructions on how to take root cuttings from my Oriental Poppies. I have enough plants they are starting to take over, but have never had any luck transplanting them. Would like to give my friend some of mine . Read that root cuttings is the way to go, in the fall after they start to grow again.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did a search but did not really find what I needed and do not have time right now to read through all the threads.
