Use cuttings of firm new growth... apply 0.1% IBA (Rooting hormone) stick in well drained soil & mist.. takes 25-80 days to root

I think the most important key is consistent heat.

I have tried both water and soil rootings, and from several dozen I was only able to get 1 cutting that was rooted in water to survive the winter in doors.
The problem I have here in Canada is the poor Winter light and the cold overnight temp. in doors thanks to the set back Thermostat we use that lets the house cool down at night.

I think next time I am NOT going to wait until late fall to take cutting, I think I would have better luck starting cuttings much earlier maybe the end of August so they can get started before the winter beings to move indoors.

The 1 plant that did survive my winter gave a Beautiful series of flowers, that were just as large as my Tropical Hib. but were DARK PURPLE and velvet looking.
