| you are lucky.. that this hosta fiend happened to roll thru this forum.. instead of the hosta forum ... hosta have a specific cold dormancy ... as we do up here in MI with many tropicals.. you can grow them as annuals.. until they peter out ... but generally speaking.. they need a cold dormant period ... over in that forum.. we have a couple peeps in z9.. who can squeeze out just enough cold to make them work.. but you dont tell us where you are.. ken |
