I don't know about that. But why don't you just collect some of the seeds and plant them. A friend of mine gave me some of the Texas Star seeds last year and I got some germinating already.

I have never even thought of rooting them from cuttings. They grow from seed so easily, it just seems like that is what we are supposed to do.
