Need some help or instruction on how to airlayering the Michelia

I will be very appreciated if anyone can let me know or intructions how to airlayering the Miochelia Alba in San Francisco, Ca. I tried to airlayer my michelia alba on last year, but not sucess at all. Is the weather or the timing? I airlayered it on Nov. last year. Thank you.

I think you would have a better chance if you tried it when it was in a growth cycle. I would try it right after the bloom was over. Al
