Is this a good time to take cuttings? I figured that after they bloom they would root more readily. Is the new growth the best?

Do you recommend routing in water or soil?

RE: Cuttings of Weigela

I start almost everything in a perlite mix. One exception is brugmansias which start easily in water which eliminates misting or tenting. Because I have some brugs in the water already I have added weigelia prunings to the same water. I will soon find out if they will start in water. You can tell I am lazy. Al
