Beginning Propagater's Environment

Hi I am just starting with propagation and I'm wondering if you think the following would be successful as an environment in Sacramento Calif:

Bakers rack covered with 2mil plastic

Location North side of house under shade of vines

Current temps are approx 100 deg F.

Baby plant's will recieved very filtered sunlight

Medium 1/2 potting soil 1/2 vermiculite

Plants attempting roses, camillas, crape myrtle etc.

I am particularly concerned with the sunlight and temp.Thanks for any thoughts you can offer.

I have the same concerns. My greenhouse is in part shade and far too hot to use in the summer. I use it as a potting shed in the early morning, otherwise it is too hot to be in there.I do have an area I can use in the summer, in the shade covered only on top with clear plastic. Al
