| I have an elephant ear plant - with the split leaves - it grows long roots. I have one root that has gown onto my floor. Is there anything I can do with this? If I cut it off and plant it will I get another plant? |

| Are you sure it's an EE? It sounds like you have a split leaf Philodendron. No, that is an anchor root and won't grow a new plant. These grow up trees in their native habitat/warm climate - that root would attach itself to a tree trunk to climb. |
