Please help me with pear tree cutting!

haven't been on this propagating site but I will now! Anyway I need some help, this weekend Im going to this guys house who has the best tasting pears around. I have a drafted store bought pear tree at home with 1 small branch growing from the rootstock. Im wondering if I would have any luck (this time of year) doing a splice graft? Is their ANYWAY I can get a cutting to grow now? Thanks!

Grafting best done early spring.
Cuttings take of firm new growth taken in the spring. Apply 0.8% IBA (Rooting hormone) Stuck in well drained soil & Mist

You may be able to bud graft your pear at this time of year. If scion wood is available bud wood should be also. If your stock tree is growing well your cambium layer should slip now. Al
