YouTube has some good videos of gardeners doing videos of propagation techniques. White Flower Farm is one of my favorites. They make some great ones..This morning I was looking up how to propagate forsythia and roses..some videos are too technical for my brain..There are many different versions, by different gardeners..

When you want to learn how to propagate a plant, check YouTube for sources. Some are hilarious to watch and listen to. Some are made by nursery owners who speak with the accent of their country. You can learn some useful, not costly tips too.
