Cuttings of Franz Shubert Phlox

There is some new growth on this plant,stems about 4-5"long. I assume I can root these? how difficult are they to take? I wtook one and prepared as usual, and stuck in my fuschia pot in the shade about 4 days ago. So far it looks OK
