I've tried several times to root cuttings in water with no success so far. I have not tried in soil or sand yet. Should I? Is it a waste of time? I have done a search on this site with no results. Anyone have any ideas?

I routinely root these with no problems. I root in a perlite and peat mix and tent. I use a weak hormone. Al

Thanks calistoga. I would like to over winter some inside. I only got two seeds to germinate so I just have the two plants to work with. They have plenty material so that I can get 8-10 more cuttings now and should have more before frost arrives. Do you get 100%? If so I'll try w/o the hormone.
