I wanted to take some cutting from my grandmother's blueberry bushes, and transplant them into my yard. What's the best time of year for this? Also, are there any specialized techniques for blueberry cuttings? Do I have to use a rooting powder, or can I just root them in a plastic bag? The soil where her blueberries are is very similar to mine. But, I don't think she has different varities. They fruit well every year, although they are not tended to, and overgrown. Should I take cuttings from more than one of her bushes to get mine to fruit?
