sticky monkey flower propogation

I have several colors of these and have had different results

and I guess it has to do with species - all the red ones took but the other colors are slow or don't make it.

I am using perlite and sand 50-50 and have holes in the containers. I realize the not sticky ones are a different species and probably need to be potted as seeds.

Need suggestions - this is for the Master Gardener tour next May and I said I could do about 100 - I have 95 to go!

    Extension servise would/should provide more help.
    i asume you mean Mimulus there is a annual, perennial & shrub BUT>>> all 3 have the same basic requirements for germination, no cover as light required, 55-60F soil temp for germination and all three are coll growing plants & long day flowering plants
