Hello! I think all I need is a "yes" or "no" here. I'm wondering if I can increase my PeeGee by layering? I do this with almost every other shrub I have. Thanks!

Hi there,,I propagate mostly from cuttings, without using any rooting hormone. I am unfamiliar with the "layering" technique. What does layering mean???

PeeGee hydrangea root so easily I personally wouldn't waste time on the layering. If you are looking to produce just one plant and have the patience to wait, try the layering. If you want many plants, Cut the branch into 6" pieces and root them all. Of course they should be softwood for the quickest results.
