tryed a layered approach to Propagating my peppermint crepe mrytle scraped off bark on underside and weighted down with a brick... checked it tonight and its rooted good! will pot till bigger...

That's cool! How long did it take? I've got a few hydrangea branches with roots after about 6 weeks. My mom likes to do this with her fairy roses.

managed to get red CM's for rooting can't layer them as the mom plant isn't mine, but have had good luck with the propagation chamber to root them...
