I am a newby gardner. I was given a piece of pink azalea from a big healthy plant. Should I mist this? IF not how should I propagate this little girl.

Thanks Joan

RE: azalea propagation

Cuttings should be 2-4 inches long. "Wound" (remove a small portion of bark at the base of cutting) the cutting apply 0.8% IBA (rooting hormone) stick in well drained soil & mist takes 30-70 days to root

RE: azalea propagation

Thanks so much, she's already set and being misted. I'll let you know how I do.
