Propagation of Ficus Starlight, 1 year on.

Hi,
About a year ago now, i took a cutting of a Ficus Starlight and used rooting powder to get it going. I took this cutting in spring and we are just entering into spring again (1 year on).
Nothing has happened to it! I'm wondering what you think i should do? Should i cut off the leaf and hope for new nodes? Should i wait more?
