Hello,

I am new to this site. I recently began my housplant collection/hobby again. The last was killed by my roommate while I went traveling. I find this all very theraputical. I received cuttings from a hearty wandering jew and a plant that she called a WJ, only this was much thicker, bigger, and tuffer than a WJ. After searching all over the net, I found a site that claimed it was called a purple heart or purple queen. It looks a little bit tropical and its stems are very thick/also it blooms a pink flower. I want to know just how to propogate these cuttings. I used to know and was very successful, but too much time passed and I am a beginner again. I thought water would root them but then decided to just stick them in good soil in pots. Please tell me if I am wrong and I cannot get hormone root at this time. I am stuck in a small town.
