Last year I created several boxwood spheres for holiday decorations using round oasis. As an experiment, after the holidays I wanted to see how long they would last (and more importantly, how long in advance of Xmas could I make them since they take a while to make). Well much to my surprise, the three I made are still going strong "and" in fact, they have rooted! After using the balls several ways for table, etc., I plunked them on a pot of soil and just watered them regularly now they somehow have rooted. Check out my blog and the natural clay pots are the ones from last year, but my new project was to make them for gifts and I used chalkboard paint for the black pots.
