| I have a Butterfly vine that is blooming now. I want to know how to make cuttings from this butterfly vine? Im new to this . Please explain!!! zone 8b. |

| Take a cutting of firm new growth. (the cutting should concist of 2 eyes or nodes.....)apply 0.1 to 0.3% IBA (rooting hormone) stick in well drained soil & mist. |

| Hi Angel, I see that this is an old note. I was wondering if this above note was sufficient enough information for you?l While Geoge was right, he didn't mention that it helps to use more mature growth to work with. Young growth can't support it's life while waiting for roots to develop. So, you'd need to further up the vine for cutting material. So, I'm wondering... have you had any success with the seeds? I've got lots of seeds and want to plant them. Xtal |
