overwintering plants

OK,

I have approx 300 plants "butterfly bushes, salvias, coreopsis, bee balm, forsythias black eyed susans, and yarrow" i did not sell and plan on planting in veggy garden for the winter.Wish there was an easier way but i think i am stuck with this option.

On the plus side they will be 2 gal so its more money.

My problem is i have about 100 i rooted late "blueberry, hibiscus, and hydrangea" that are ready or just about ready to be transplanted into potting soil and i don't think they have a good enough root system

to make it through the winter in garden.

Should i just find a place in basement or is there another option?

Thanks
