I have a few hundred azaleas that I rooted this summer. When do I need to trim or cut them for the first time? This fall (now) or wait until spring? They are getting taller and I think it is time?

Delay trimming/cutting till spring. It is time to start "hardening" them off by reducing water no fertilizer etc.

How can I protect them thru the winter? Should I leave them in the floor of the greenhouse or move them to a sheltered area? This GH has no heat.
