Pachira aquatica ( Money Tree ) from seed?

I am planning on starting Pachira aquatica ( Money Tree ) from seed, and want to grow them braided.

I have noticed that there is usually 3 or more main stems that come out of the planting pot.

Questions:

Do more than one stem sprout from seeds?

if not,

Should I plant seeds together in same planter to get the many stems?

or do I plant seeds individually then transplant them together into same pot/planter later after they sprout?

Seems to be plenty information on soil, climate light, and water requirments, but just have not been able to find information on planting these by seeds for use as Bonsai.

in the following images seems to me that they are seperate plants that were placed together, but would like confirmation. I also noticed that very small pots/planters are used, I assume this is to control size and make the base of the plant look fatter.
