Question about privet cuttings

Posted by gerry_wyomingpa z6 NEPA (My Page) on

I made some cuttings back in mid July, and they have rooted well, but appear to be doing nothing else, do I need to trim them back, remove leaves, or just keep waiting.

I know they are a very common plant, but these ones have a bit of sentimental value, so I am hoping to get something from them.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

RE: Question about privet cuttings

We are now at the end of the "growing season" for this plant. I would now prepare them overwintering & next spring they will take off & produce a plant you will be proud of.....
