late soft/semi cuttings in Zone 6

Ilive near Philly (PA) and just took a bunch of great cuttings (no time to do til now), not realizing how quickly it had gotten cold here (recent falls were warmer!). Have them all stuck/potted and was concerned about the effect of the temperatures, so covered them on a (sm greenhouse w/shelves; I've used the shelves for the same before with luck, but never covered them before). Will this do what I need to have the cuttings root this fall? I'm thinking that the plastic cover keeps them warm as they may need to be..? Would it be better if I moved the set-up into my garage.. or spare room inside? I hate to waste my time and effort.. and I have access to some new shrubs and pants I want to try, so appreciate any advicce/input.
