Fungicide and cuttings

Hiya all,

I ve read in a book recently that misting cuttings and even watering them with a mixture of copper fungicide and water would help to stop rotting and so on..

Has anyone done this? And what is the difference between the copper fungicide and the sulphur one? The copper one is twice as expensive..
