Liripoe Muscari Tubers

Hi,
I have dug up and divided and replanted my variegated liriope, and have remaining a bunch of the little tubers with roots attached (I guess that is what they are - they look like baby potatoes) but no greenery. I was wondering if I can plant these in maybe one of those little greenhouse seed starter kits - would they sprout?

Thanks a bunch!

PS - I really appreciate this forum!
