'Sugar Maple' hibiscus

This was a really cool tropical hibiscus that didn't flower but looked like a burgundy colored Japanese Maple. I've tried to get info on bringing it indoors at the Hibiscus forum, but got no answers. Do any of you know how I might propagate it to keep cuttings for next year? The stems are not as woody as the flowering tropicals. Anita

Take a cutting of firm new growth apply 0.1% IBA (Rooting hormone)Stick in well drained soil & mist takes 25-80 days to root.
