propagating wall germander (teucrium chamaedrys)

Well, I must be losing my mind b/c I could have sworn that I posted this question this morning, but I don't see it now. I recently fell in love with wall germander at the St. Louis botanical garden. I would like to use a lot of it next spring to make a low growing "hedge" border. Would it be worth ordering a plant now and taking cuttings? If so, can someone let me know the best method? I have flourescent lights, but would love advice on whether or not to cover with plastic, using rooting hormone, how much light, etc. Thanks in advance for any advice!

take cuttings of firm new growth. apply 0.3% IBA (rooting hormone) stick in well drained soil & mist. takes 30-90 days to root.
light during root formation should be filtered & much stronger for plant growth.
