Frost's near: Approach for Success w/SH Cuttings

I've continued to take cuttings (semi-hardwood) from favorite shrubs, and have them in trays on wire shelving - wrapped in plastic sheeting for the last nite or two, as temps are very close to frost.

What would you recommend so they continue the rooting process successfully (then I'd put them in my soil mix for the winter)? I thought of bringing them (on the shelves) into the garage, maybe with a small heater overnite, - or perhaps laying the trays out on old heating blankets/temp tables. I've read varying things about the temp required for rooting to continue properly.

ANY and ALL information and/or advice would be much appreciated... I've got some great plants 'stuck' and want to work to lose as little/few as possible. (I'm not doing HW cuttings, as I expect to move over the next few/winter months.)

Thank you!

D.
