Propagating Duranta Alba

I was wondering if anyone has had any success with Propagating Duranta?

I've got a single "sport" limb on my Duranta Alba that is giving me variegated foliage. I'd like to cut this limb off and try and root it. I haven't seen a variegated white flowering Duranta and thought this would be unique.

Can anyone give me some advice?

Take a soft-wood or semi-hard wood Cutting apply 0.1% IBA (Rooting hormone) stick in well drained soil & mist taking 20-50 days to root.
Should realize that the chances ar that it will soon revert to the original colors.....

I grew Cuban Gold for the first time this year and loved it. So, in the fall (before our first so-called freeze), I took stem cuttings from it, and put them in sweat boxes. EVERY last one of them rooted. I did not even use rooting hormone! I have them under lights in the basement.
