Propagating Cherry Laurel

oldSarge98

I believe the picture here is of a large Cherry Laurel on our property. It stands about 12 to 15 feet tall. I've heard they can be kept as a shrub for a hedge. lifting the lower branches on this specimine reveals several sprouts in the ground under the tree. Can these be harvested in a way to propagate in a row for the purpose of creating a hedge?
