Succulent Plant growing too tall and leaning

Hi there,

I purchased two different succulent plants from the store about a year ago and I don't know very much about this type of plant but they appear to have outgrown their pots and are leaning quite a bit.

I've tried rotating them every couple of weeks but I'm wondering:
1) Do these plants, in fact, need to be repotted?
2) Can I can take cuttings to propagate the plant? If so, where should I cut and what's the best method for propagation?

May I suggest you repost on the House Plants Forum, a much livelier forum where you will get lots of help. For starters can I ask if the glass jar has any drainage holes?

No it doesn't have any drainage holes.

I see ou posted over on House Plants and got responses. You must have drainage holes in any house plant container.

Hi Floral UK,

Yes I took your suggestion about the repost and will make sure that when I re-pot it will have proper drainage; bought it from a store like this though but thought it was odd there was no drainage!

A bunch of people on the cacti and succulent forum grow those things. I'm a cactus guy but they'd know all about it.
