You'll find plenty of excellent information and support if you use the search function (whether for all gardening forums of within this one directed to propagation; see the bottom of the Q/A topics here). There's also information on standard approaches if you search online.. I've found info associated with a university (often an extension service)to be clear and helpful.

Aucuba can be easier to root, etc, but (as I've had reinforced by so many in here :), all successful propagation requires some patience and attention to detail.
